Joints needed:
5×7 hoop doll – 10 mm for the legs and arms and 15mm for head
6×10 hoop doll – 20 mm for arms, 25 mm for legs and 30mm for head
7×12 hoop doll – 30 mm for the legs, 25mm for arms and 35mm for head
8×14 hoop doll – 30mm for arms and legs and 45mm for the head
It really depends on how mobile you want your doll to be, bigger joints will make the doll stiffer, you can place the joint on the circle of the arm and leg pieces once turned, you’ll see which one works and which one doesn’t, we like to experiment so we use different joints each time.
