Joints needed:

You only need 2 of 15 mm joints for larger sizes and 2 10mm joints for smaller sizes.
It really depends on how mobile you want your toy to be, bigger joints will make the toy stiffer, you can place the joint on the circle of the arm  pieces once turned, you’ll see which one works and which one doesn’t, we like to experiment so we use different joints each time.

*Secondly, you can make all the parts in the hoop! Only a few stitches made by sewing machine.
